Wordize is operated by Smallize Pty Ltd. This Acceptable Use Policy is specific to the Wordize service. For general terms governing all Smallize services, please see the Smallize Terms of Use.
This Acceptable Use Policy describes prohibited uses of Wordize services. By using Wordize, you agree to comply with this policy.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use Wordize for any illegal or harmful purposes. Specifically, you may not:
1. Illegal Activities
Violate applicable laws or regulations, infringe intellectual property rights, process illegal content, or engage in fraud or deceptive practices.
2. Abusive Behavior
Harass, threaten, or intimidate others; process or distribute defamatory, obscene, or offensive content; distribute malware or viruses; or engage in spamming or unsolicited marketing.
3. Service Abuse
Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with or disrupt the service, use automated tools to abuse or overload our systems, circumvent usage limits or security measures, or reverse engineer our software.
4. Copyright Infringement
Upload or process copyrighted material without authorization, remove copyright notices or watermarks, or distribute copyrighted content without permission.
5. Privacy Violations
Process documents containing others' personal data without authorization, violate privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), or collect or harvest personal information from other users.
6. Prohibited Use of Protected Information
You must not upload or process: Protected Health Information (PHI) including medical records or patient data subject to HIPAA; Student Education Records including transcripts or educational documents subject to FERPA without proper safeguards; or any Regulated Data subject to special regulatory requirements without ensuring compliance.
Important: This service is not HIPAA compliant and is not designed for FERPA-protected student records. Healthcare providers, educational institutions, and organizations handling regulated data must ensure compliance with applicable laws before using this service.
Enforcement
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Warning or notice to comply
- Temporary suspension of service access
- Permanent termination of service access
- Legal action if warranted
- Reporting to appropriate authorities
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including removing content and terminating accounts.
